Freedom Tower Air Conditioning by McQuay

McQuay International has been awarded the contract to supply HVAC units for the Freedom Tower. The contract is estimated at nearly $15 million. The 105 story building will be 1776 feet tall, and located at 1 World Trade Center.

The custom system will use HFC-410A refrigerant, and consist of high efficiency self contained units. The units will be manufactured at McQuay International’s plant in Faribault, MN. For more info on this story, see the following articles:
