Since 1955 McQuay has been the pioneer of Incremental and PTAC/PTHP systems. With the new Applied PTAC, McQuay addresses both the new construction (42 x 16) and replacement markets. The 44 x 16 unit is a direct replacement for the McQuay EA, MEA, PMES, RS, and other 44" McQuay PTAC models. The Applied PTAC is engineered and produced in the USA.
Features of the Applied PTAC include a tangential blower wheel for quiet operation. Vibration isolators on the rotary compressor minimizes vibration, and the unit bulkhead is insulated eliminate outdoor sound transmission. Easy to use digital controls give precise control over room temperature. High efficiency PSC motors and rotary compressor, along with state-of-the-art coil design make this one of the most effiecient units for replacement applications.
